Our Goals
OEC’s Goals for the 2024-2025 School Year
- At least 43.62% of grade 3-8 students will score proficient/advanced on the ELA PSSA
- At least 17.62% of grade 3-8 students will score proficient/advanced on the Math PSSA
- At least 80.60% of all students will attend school 90% of days or more
In 2023-2024, 41.6% of students performed at the Proficient/Advanced level in ELA, 13.1% scored ProficientAdvanced in Math, and 78.6% attended 90% of days or more.
Our Approaches
Our strategies for achieving this year’s goals will be:
- High-quality instruction, using research-based curricula and effective teaching practices
- Small group interventions to close academic gaps
- Ongoing professional development for staff
- Family workshops to support learning at home
- Attendance incentives for students attending ≥ 90% days
- Communication and support from the Attendance Team
